Valentine Chex Mix


Anytime you can have chocolate and peanut butter together, it's going to be good! Here's a simple treat that everyone can enjoy. 
 

 Here's what you need: 

1 box of Chocolate Chex Cereal
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup chunky peanut butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 bag M&M's.

1. Mix the cereal and M&M's together in a large bowl. Set aside.


2. Mix the corn syrup and sugar together in a medium sauce pan.  Heat until it begins to bubble. Add peanut butter and stir until it's all incorported.


3. Pour syrup mixture over cereal mix. Stir until all the mix is coated with the syrup mixture.


 4. Enjoy! Store in airtight container or a Ziploc bag.

  16. It was so good as soon as it cool a little. Put in air tight container, by that night the mix was no longer crunchy. Taste was good but soft, I was so disappointed. Any suggestions or ideas why?
