Here's another simple, yet practical gift for your new teachers. Fill a container with a few items that they can use in their classrooms.
I found this cardboard tub in the dollar section at Target and filled it with clorox wipes, kleenex, glue sticks, scissors, hand sanitizer, apple shaped paper clips(found at Hobby Lobby), bag of chocolates and a jumbo paper clip bookmark.

love this idea, bonnie. we have wilder's teacher a notepad with her initial on it, a handmade fabric flower brooch, and a paper pinwheel mad from a vintage children's dictionary.
