DIY Painted Mason Jars

Turn an ordinary mason jar into a cute spring vase. It's super easy and takes very little time.

Supplies needed:
empty jars
spray paint of any color choice-(I used KRYLON Indoor/Outdoor Satin-pink)
(-DON'T use the gloss finish. The paint was very spotty looking on the jars)
newspaper or drop cloth
ribbon or embellishments of choice

Tip your jar upside down on your paper in a well ventilated space then spray a light first coat so that you can still see areas of the jar that aren't covered. Let each coat dry before adding another coat, usually about 10 minutes.

Continue until it's covered enough to your liking. Like these shown.

There you have it! I wanted something Spring/Easter like to take to 3 ladies that I visit each month so I painted 4 jars at the same time. Added some ribbon, flowers and a cute "Happy Easter" tag. You could paint jars to match every holiday or just for a cute accent piece in your home!
